They are building a house across the street from us and this has been an absolute wonder to Kai. He gets to see trucks, Bobcat tractors (are they tractors?), and construction equipment of all kinds! His bedroom faces the street so as soon as we open his door to get him out of bed, he's "uh uh" pointing to the window, asking to see out the window. He perch is in front of the dining room window or side windows of the front door, watching it all happen. He doesn't say "mommy" yet, but he does say "tra ter" for tractor, "ths" for "truck" or "uh uh" will suffice when really excited. His favorite book is one that has different airplanes, rescue trucks, farm equipment, cars and boats in it. I am charmed and enthralled by this little angel!
He loves to tease me--when I ask for a kiss or hug, he shakes his head vehemently NO and smiles!
